Papertrey Blog Hop Card #3

This is my last card that I've created with the new pattern paper. Also the paper was the main focal point as an ice cream. I wanted to created something in a more neutral color. The close up is of the glitter on the image. It's really pretty in real life.

Papertrey Blog Hop card #2

This is my 2nd card. The new paper is the main focal point for this card. I love the swirls on one of the pieces and decided that it reminds me of a yogurt sundae. The other pattern was perfct as a cone! What better!!! I decided ot make an ice cream cone out of the 2 pattern papers. Maybe Nicole will use this idea to design a stamp set. hehehehehee--I wished! Well, summer is around the corner. What a better idea than to have ice cream on a nice hot summer day!

Papertrey Blog Hop Card #1

I've decided to upload the cards that I've created for the Papertrey blog hopping now b/c I won't be home tonight. The family is planning something so I won't be able to upload later.
This is the first of 3 cards that I've created. I used the pattern paper as a pot for the plant. What better time...Spring is here and lots of plants are blooming. I used the pot image from the "Green Thumb" set to stamp the pot on the pattern paper. The image was cut out. The leaves are also from Green Thumb.

Fun Little Storage Solution

I made this last night to store my embellishments that I got from Michael's. It's a frappachino bottle altered. Hubby and I were sitting together and watching the Red Sox play last night. One child was asleep and one was over Grandma's. Yaaaahhh, "me time"! I had to be productive (since I had not been blogging for such a long time), so I whipped this up while watching TV with him.
I just haven't decide what image/wording I'm going to be putting on the label yet.

Hope you enjoy it!

TLC 165

This is the giftcard that I've made for the weekly technique challenge, TLC 165. The dimension is 4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock. Scored at 3, 5 1/2, and 8".

Here is a picture of the giftcard opened. I didn't make a band to close the card, but rather the buckle version. Here it is opened.

And this is a close up of the glitter on it. Thanks kids! Yes, 2 and 3 year olds love shiny things.....

Have a good day.

Wedding Card to share

I was in the mood to do a wedding card. This is what I whipped up yesterday. The hardest part is the cake. It's all done with punches. As you can tell, I'm trying to get my mileage out of my new MS punch. It's also perfect for a wedding design. The only stamping on the card is the sentiment.

My son and daughter LOVES glitter, as you can see, I've put some on the card. As you know, my son loves to help me when I'm making a card. I really didn't want the glitter on it but he was pushing me to put it on, so there yo have it...I HAD to put some glitter on the card. Overall, I think the glitter on the cake was a nice finishing touch! Who would have thought that a 3 yr old has such a wonderful eye on designing!

I just wanted to show you that this is what the the card looked like before the "I felt it needed something on the right-hand corner."

Alright, my last card for today

Here is my last Lily card. As you can see, I love using bright colors. This is my least favorite out of all of them but I'm ok with it.

Ummm, maybe another card to share

Well, since I've been such a bad blogger, I'll share wth you another Pink Cat Studio card. This is a birthday (or any other occasion) invite. This set is just perfect for any little girl that you might have in your life. Lily is just too darling. The nicest part is that you can color her in bright and cheery. Whenever I see the image, it makes me want to create happy and bright cards.

Pink Cat Studio card

I wanted to share a card that I've made from the Dress Up Lily (aka Paige)set from the Pink Cat Sudio with you. This is quickly becoming my favorite stamp set. This is a double fold card. Did you notice my new Martha Stewart border punch?? How cute is that?? It matches so perfectly with Lily!

Check this out!

Katharina is giving away a brand new, original Hänglar and Stänglar stamp in her blog:Katharina's Creative Ideas. Go check it out. Her work is awesome!!!

Unproductive Day

I spent about 5 hours in my stamp room and came up with 3 cards. Do you have one of those days?? I think...I KNOW, that I spent most of the time looking for cardstocks, punches, embellishments, etc. Are you one of those people(aka me) who has an idea what you should go on your card and have to have "it" on the card? That the part where I spend my time looking for "it." My headache today was that I couldn't find my C plate for my Cuttlebug. I swear I looked 3 times in the spot where I had put it...and only to find it in the spot where I had put it. Do you think the dust bunnies were playing hide-go-seek with me?

After 5 hours of time to myself, I had to go upstairs..Brrrr, it gets cold in the basement! Well, it's not so bad if it was a warm day like yesterday. We had such an awesome day yesterday. We fired up the grill and had a cook out. Delicious!!! I love grilled food.

I'll share the cards that I made with you tomorrow. I don't have my cable to upload the pictures.

Good night,
Cammy

New card and Company

The main image of the little girl on this card was made by a company called Pink Cat Studio. Isn't she just the cutest???!?!?!?! I fell in love with the images b/c it reminds me of my daughter, Paige. The set is called Dress up Lily. Melissa is the owner and she is super nice!! I told her that the set looks so much like my daughter and she had the packaging changed to "Dress Up Paige"-just for me! The shipping was really cheap and fast--yes, all the way from Canada but it was so fast! Overall, I'm really happy with Pink Cat Studio. I'm hoping to make more cards and showcase it for you. Enjoy!

New cards

I'm really sorry to be such a bad blogger. I promise to have a card for you tomorrow. Between job hunting and trying to enjoy the warm days..I got lazy. Well, it is also b/c we were having work done in our basement as well. My stamp room is a big mess right now, but it's considered clean right now b/c I have not been stamping down there. There are alot of boxes and things from the other rooms while downstairs is being worked on. I know, it doesn't make sense....
So please stay tuned for tomorrow's card debut...hopefully it's something good!(As I mentioned I had been on hiatus for the past month or so, badly needed in my case.)
